| |
| Q: What is a wrap
made of? |
| A: A car wrap is constructed out of a
pressure sensitive film called “vinyl”. It has an adhesive
on the backside that allows the vinyl to stick to your vehicle’s
surface. We only offer films from three companies; 3M Corporation,
Avery, and Oracal. Although there are other great manufactures
out in the marketplace, we choose to only support these
three based on superior performance and warranty issues
if they arise. |
| |
| Q: Will it damage
my vehicle’s paint? |
|
A: Yes, the wrap can damage a surface that is not a OEM
coating. However, most cars and trucks have had some damage
that needed auto body work and as long as it was completed
by a quality paint shop, the wrap should not damage the
surface. We will prior to installing the wrap, test the
surface to insure that the coating is sufficient to accept
a wrap. We will do the test or send you the package to check
the areas after you have accepted the order. Only a
certified installer will complete your graphics package.
There are no exceptions to this!
|
| |
| Q: How long does
it last? Is there a warranty? |
|
A: Depending on your region, a typical wrap can last
24 months to 72 months. Manufacturers have stated warranties,
based on temperatures, that we can advise you when you place
your order. We advise that a wrap should be removed within
4 years. After 48 months, the adhesive becomes a permanent
adhesive and will cause the clear coat to be damaged when
the wrap is removed. If you plan to have the truck in service
for 5-6 years, don’t worry about the fading or cracking
from your certified installed package, it’s good to go.
|
| |
| Q: What type of vehicles
will work? |
| A: A car wrap can turn even the most ordinary
vehicle into an eye-catching mobile billboard. Vans‚ Trucks‚
SUVs‚ Sedans... whatever‚ we can wrap it. |
| |
| Q: How much does
it cost? |
| A: An average full size pick up truck
will cost about $2,300.00 for a long term wrap, plus a design
fee. The cost of the wrap is based on 3 criteria. First,
is the square footage needed to fully or partially wrap
your vehicle’s surface. Secondly, the wrap design based
on your needs to promote your business. Thirdly, the labor
to install the graphic package is based on the complexity
of the vehicle. Some models are easily installed, while
others require master skills to install a great looking
wrap without damaging your vehicle. |
| |
| Q: Is financing available? |
|
A: Yes, We have local funding agencies to finance the
vehicle with necessary equipment for your business or just
finance the wrap. We also accept checks. Once you accept
our agreement, you will be required to send a 50% deposit
and the balance is due upon delivery of the vehicle. If
you are financing the project, the terms and conditions
will be between you and the leasing company. Please click

| Q: Can I use my own
artwork and pictures? |
Artwork Format
Adobe Illustrator files are the preferred form for graphics
and allow the greatest flexibility for sizing graphics to
any size without loss of quality. Scans should be CMYK and
saved as an .eps. Resolution of the scan should be a minimum
of 300dpi at 25% of final output size.
Any art or scans placed withing a layout application, such
as InDesign or Quark, should be placed in the document as
an .eps at 70-100% scale.
Photos
(.jpg .bmp .gif) These formats usually formatted for web
graphics. These can only be accepted if the resolution is
at least 150-300 dpi and in CMYK color
Digital Cameras
If youare taking pictures from a digital camera, your camera
setting must be set at high or best resolution. Digital
photos under 5MB usually do not work for large format output.
If you have a small digital file DO OT open the photo in
a photo editing program and change the resolution (dpi)
to make the photo larger. There is no way to ADD resolution
to a photo already taken, all that happens is that you take
a bad photo and make it larger in size. Please retake the
photo. If your camera does not take pictures in an acceptabe
resolution, then you must use a traditonal film camera and
either scan the photo or send us the developed glossy print
to scan.
We DO NOT print from or accept layouts for print in the
following formats, except for importing text into an actual
design programs: MS Publisher , MS Word, MS Powerpoint,
MS Excel.

| Q: What if I don't
have my own artwork? |
|
A: We are judged by our peers for exceptional work. We
are placed in high regard from our film manufacturers when
it comes to design and installation. Our designs are placed
in trade magazines throughout the industry. When we say
“awards”, we mean 1st, 2nd or best of show. We have a base
price of $450.00 for a wrap design for a vehicle and $600.00
for semi trailers and units that are large in size. The
fee covers the revisions needed for that concept. Remember,
if a change in concept occurs, you will incur another art
charge.
|
| |
| Q: I live in a small
town. Can you still help me? |
|
A: Yes. We have a national network of 3M Preferred Installers,
Feller’s Certified Installers that can certainly accommodate
your installation on a local or national scale. Our certified
installers and can typically set up your installation within
a 250 mile radius of your location. If we can’t be personally
on site for your branding, we send certified installers
that have the proper qualifications to insure that your
project is completed as it was outlined.
|
| |
| Q: How do I care
for my wrap? |
| A: Hand washing is best! We use heated
torches to apply your package and car washes use heated
water to clean your vehicle. If you have to use a car wash,
please use a low pressure and low heat facility to clean
your car to make sure you don’t blast your wrap off the
surface. |
| |
| Q: What if I dent
my car‚ can my car wrap be fixed? |
| A: Yes. We can easily replace the damaged
pieces or panels of your car wrap |
| |
| Q: How soon can
I have my vehicle wrapped? |
|
A: We will supply you with the final art design of your
wrap electronically (PDF or JPG). Upon your approval of
design, we can usually have your wrap installed in less
than 2 weeks.
